Sedum roofs are extensive green roofs that have a media depth of 3 8 inches. Regionally specific fll approved lightweight blends of inorganic and organic components are sourced and available for delivery in bulk small bag or super sacks totes. An instant green roof pre grown at our farm in specially designed cassettes. Sedum is very resilient to diseases and insects pests.

Sedum can withstand drought for example in very hot summers. Sedum or other succulent plants grown into low level substrates for construction on flat roofs and podium decks. Applicable to both new build and retrofitting. Sedum roofs with a natural drainage layer are designed to maximize water retention while sedum roofs with a synthetic drainage layer may focus more on minimizing weight.

Grown in a shallow layer of lightweight low nutrient growing media. Sedum options are available in un rooting sedum cuttings plugs pre grown sedum tiles 15 x20 and pre grown sedum mats 4 x 6. Sedum is easy to maintain and requires little water and nutrients. Extensive sedum green roofs utilise drought tolerant plant species which are typically sedum species.
