Schluter kerdi is a sheet applied waterproofing and vapor retardant membrane that is installed behind the tiles in showers bathtub surrounds and other wet areas. In most cases a point drain will cost less than a linear drain. Because the entire floor is evenly sloped in one direction any size tile can be installed on the floor. Kerdi line can be installed adjacent to walls or at intermediate locations in showers steam rooms wet rooms and other applications that require drainage.
