Install in new and old floors unfinished and finished floors with carpet tile linoleum or wood.

Die cast zinc frames and covers are available with brass. Remove material that remains between the saw cuts. Install in box with supplied cable. Now use a jigsaw with a wood cutting blade to complete the box cutout.

The gasketed frames in this series fit our flbc8500 and flbc8502 concrete boxes. Floor boxes with recessed plug and flush power and data configurations for use in new or retrofit commercial or residential applications. Apply masking tape to protect the floor finish. Flush to floor round cut in floor box kits with threaded plugs.

Holes at the corners where the screws protrude from the sides of the metal box and two more where the outlet mounting screws go. Outline the outlet box on the floor. Using a 4 diameter hole saw cut opening in floor approximately 1 2 deep taking care to avoid structural framing members. Next use a 3 1 2 hole saw to cut through the remaining flooring subfloor creating a shelf at the desired depth for the box.
